Victoria Challenge 1B

1B, congratulations on your completion of the Victorian Challenge! Despite the difficulties we've faced from the initial conception stage to the actual execution itself, you boys have proven yourself determined, resilient and enterprising.

We made a profit of $1,461.50 by merely selling drinks - good business model, isn't it?! Out of this sum, your willingness to donate $1,310 to Victoria's EDGE Fund is very commendable. With the remaining sum of money (not much, looks like I'll have to top up after knowing your tastes!), rest assured we'll go and makan with that one day.

Anyway, the challenge was not about how much we money we had made. Rather, it is the life lessons that we learn during the process of the challenge. You boys have demonstrated the importance of teamwork (the delivery boys and bartenders!), innovation (Chemist Failure!) and being focussed and goal-driven ('Mr. Tan, how much money have we made?' - asking me this every 15mins!).

I've also manage to learn more about 1B as a class, as well as the individuals which I had to work very closely with. I am sure you have learnt more about me during the Challenge.

The Challenge may be over, but the 24hours where 1B have toiled, cried and bonded together will be etched in our memories forever.

Nil Sine Labore.
